WHO WE ARE

NIGERIAN NATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS SUMMARY:

Due to increase of environmental challenges in Nigeria, our organization “Community Rebirth Initiative (NGO)" has swiftly initiated Nigerian National Climate Change aWARENESS as an environmental public enlightenment campaign, to educate the general public on environmental risk which we stand to face, if we fail to take effective measures and responsibilities of our environment.

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Climate change is a major threat to the sustainable development of Nigeria. Responding to climate change from both mitigation and adaptation angles require strategic approaches from policy, regulatory and institutional frameworks and capacities. In our research, we examined the extent to which the adaptive capacities of Nigeria have been utilized to influence sectoral policies that have influence in enhancing the national climate change adaptation responses.

WHAT WE DO

Climate Change, Renewable Energy Development, Clean Cooking Stove Production, Agricultural Development, etc.

OUR PROGRAM ARE STIPULATED INTO FOUR CATEGORIES;

 

1. Radio Interactive Program; we aim to discuss general issues and educate the general public on Climate as our awareness program such as; Pollution, Risk, Lives, Death, Prevention, Solution, Deforestation/Forestation, fossil fuel, Investment, Carbon, Erosion, Desertification, Flooding, Energy, Opportunity, Expo, Policy, adaptation, Clean Development Mechanism, Government, Business, etc. on our Live Radio program is titled: “Nigeria Climate Issues” and its open for general sponsorship.

 

 

2. Student Climate Club; we are setting up Climate Club in Primary and Secondary schools Nationwide after effective awareness flag-off to drive the establishment of Students Climate Clubs  in Primary, Secondary, and high institutions nationwide to teach students about Climate Issues such as; the Risk, Prevention/Solution, adaptation, Opportunity/Benefits, etc.

 

 

3. Nigerian Climate Youths Corps & Nigerian Climate Warriors; this will actively involve Nigerian Youths and enable them to actively key into Climate professions for empowerment, job creation, sustainable economic development, environmental mitigation programs, tree planting, education, etc.

 

 

4. Face 2 Face Climate Awareness; to actively drive a mass climate change awareness for public awareness, as non-political, non-religious, non-ethnic, and non-violent climate campaign. We will ensure best peaceful and friendly climate change campaign in Nigerian States, using Posters, Handbills, Sports/Cycling, Road walk, Conference/workshop, quiz, etc.

 

Our organization’s commitment to the above sustainable Clean, Green and Prosperous environment will not be enough to achieve the desired result, but collaborating with cooperate government/none government agencies and organization at national/international levels for sustainable achievement.
